"Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you."
Hosea 10:12
Have you ever been so thirsty for the Holy Spirit that you wished you could spend every single living moment worshipping Him?
Have you ever yearn so much for the Holy Spirit that you wished you could be swept away to a desserted island, and do nothing except fellowship with Him?
Have you ever gone to work, school, or elsewhere and all you could think of is to find a solitary place to commune with Him? Or even feel like you want to rush home in the shortest, possible time to spend time with Him even while you are outside?
That's how I'm feeling now.
He's like my oxygen; my every single breath depends on Him. If He were to switch off from my life now, I would probably stop breathing. But the best thing about God is that He will always be here for us, for you, for me. Lord, let there be such a close union. I want your dreams and visions to live in me again.
Thanks to my courageous member who gave me a stirring verse. I felt like I am in my longest transition ever since three years ago. Perhaps God is going to do a deeper work than I had ever experienced, that's why this transition seemed to be taking forever. Perhaps God wants to do such a deep work so that I can move on to the next level. Whatever it is God, teach me to surrender.
I love you Lord.

Retrospect
- "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain." -
John 12:24
These few days, I've just been pondering on this verse which came to my mind ever since weeks ago...and until I get a revelation, that's all I'm sharing. Take care and God bless my dear ones!

Counting My Blessings
- Good things come in small packages -
People say, "Good things come in small packages".
I want to 'Amen' to that. Wanna thank God for everyone who put in effort to make my birthday a happy one. First, my cg gave me a surprise and a book that I really wanted, and spent time fellowshipping with me and wanting me to be happy. I won't name names because everyone counts.
Someone gave me something I never expected; a sketch book, but I truly, deeply appreciate that because no one notices my love for drawing except this person. Thank you! It's so thoughtful! It touches my heart.
Then my dear friend took me for dinner, spent time with me, called me and sang me a birthday song at twelve midnight, prayed for me, and that's not all, hand delivered me my present (earphones) to my workplace on my birthday which I started using the very day I received it. I carry it even to work with me now. Thank you my dear! You know who you are!
Another dear one hand delivered flowers to me, complete with a Pooh bear which I bring to sleep with me everyday (ha, you guys won't believe it right?), chocolates and a baby book. Yah, a B-A-B-Y book. Thank you dear!
Not forgetting those who made cards and stuff for me, and the dozens of wishes that came in.
Ah ha, I think I can mention Mr Lim, originator of George of The Jungle, who called me early to wish me. Thank you ah.
I had a blessed birthday this year. Thank you everyone! I love you all always!

A Year of Faithfulness
-Faithfulness is the Cornerstone of Character-
The above is often quoted, not often fully apprehended, not often put to maximum practise.
After 8 years of Christian walk, God is re-laying the foundation that always work in my life.
Being faithful is not passive obedience.
Being faithful is not just doing what you should do consistently.
It is holy determination that every little thing that God has entrusted us to do must be done well and done consistently.
God has set this year to be a year where I'll simply be focused on being faithful to Him, in every aspect, in all manners, in magnitude and longitude.
What is God calling you to this year?

It is holy determination that every little thing that God has entrusted us to do must be done well and done consistently.
It is a conviction that every small task that God has given us to do has to be given the most thorough thought to bring it to perfection.
Heb 3:1,2
"Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house."
Heb 3:5
And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward"

A New Beginning
- Don't expect others to take greater risks or make greater sacrifices than you have for your vision -
Unknown
Yesterday I went for a prayer walk.
I spent two and a half hours all by myself, loitering outside.
I decided to walk to a park a couple of bus stops away. As I walked, I pondered. I thought. I prayed.
Had been feeling frustrated for quite some time because I still didn't know what I want to do in 2005. Frustrated because I could have used the time to pursue my God-given destiny instead of hanging around and wondering where I am going this year.
Finally I had enough. I decided to find some quiet to clear my thoughts.
I settled in a corner of the park and started to read the book I had grabbed on my way out. It was title "Visioneering". God has an uncanny way of knowing what we need, down to the smallest details. It was just the book I need. As I read the book, God spoke into my heart, reminded me of things, and the time just passed.
Now, I'm happier because I have a sketch of what to do and where I want to be this year. No murky mess, no indistinguishable form. God will fill in the details along the way.
So, I've decided to give my blog a new look. The old has passed away. It signifies a new beginning. Welcome to God-Chaser me that I strive to be this year.

Here are some questions that came to my mind yesterday that I think can help you in your goal setting:
What do you want to achieve this year? Why do you want to achieve what you want to achieve? (Important because it's your driving force.)
Eg. To hit $XXX production, because by achieving that, I can have happiness by being able to choose having a higher standard of living.
What are the rewards associated with reaching your goals? (Keep imagining your rewards. They give a compelling visual effect.)
It is your character that God is interested in which brings me to my next question:
What kind of person do you need to become in order to achieve your goals? Write down specific behaviours you need to see in yourself.
Eg. Discipline to make XXX phone calls at least XXX times per week.
Discipline to read XXX chapters of the Bible per week, nothing short of
it.

2005!
WELCOME TO 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello ladies and gentlemen, this is my first entry for 2005!
How's all your goal-setting coming along?
It's always mixed feelings when it comes to goal-setting. On one hand, there's the excitement of new things God has in store for us this year (and every year different! Serving God is really an adventure!); on the other hand, we have to throw away our past failures and setbacks so that we give ourselves a brand new start!! Amen?
I want to thank God for my new bilingual Bible!!!!! Thank You Jesus!!! Thank you Deb!
What a great way to start the new year!
